I am a junior majoring in Chemistry with a Pre-Health Professions Certificate, a Business Foundations Certificate, a Forensic Science Certificate, and a minor in Spanish. I am particularly interested in the medical aspect of the forensics field. My goal is to become a Medical Examiner to assist in solving cases involving law enforcement.

Undergraduate Researcher • August 2015 - May 2016
Worked in the specific stream of engineering yeast to model human diseases. This lab aided in specific research in which the human DNA was engineered to replace a similar coded region of E.Coli. This was done so that the strain can be analyzed for mutation and examined to see how the specific disease affects organisms.
